Mitsubishi brake pads are superior to the OEM and can stop you vehicle 20 sooner than stock.

It puts power to all four wheels through a spectacular six-speed twin-clutch Sportronic Shift transmission. If you're one of those people who think they're super-shifters with a stick and can beat any automatic, you're living in the past. When you are entering a corner only Hawks brake pads provide you that excellent braking power without fading. As you might expect from a performance-oriented vehicle, the stock brake pads need be upgraded to the Hawks brake pads which provide excellent brake feel when slowing down.

When replacing your brake pads it is wise to replace the brake shims at the same time.Shims go between the pad and the caliper to help eliminate squeal (brake squeal is caused by the pad vibrating on the caliper). The shims help stop or absorb the vibration. These are the same brake shims that Mitsubishi put on your EVO from the factory.  Unlike a lot of "race only" downpipes on the market today, GReddy's MR downpipe is designed to work with the factory catalyst, meaning you won't have to dodge the cops with it installed, nor will you have to contend with a lit check engine light. Yet another improvement that should've been made from the factory.

  • Brake pads last 40 longer than OEM brake pads
  • Virtually no brake fade
  • Cost 40 less than OEM brake pads and fitment is perfect

Those Recaro race seats contribute to a visibility problem compounded by the Cpillar and big rear wing. You need to use your side mirrors correctly to eliminate blind spots.

That's a lot of stuff, but it all works magnificently making Mister Evo one of the most sure-footed vehicles I've ever driven. There's just enough slip to let you have fun in the corners, but not enough to get you into any kind of trouble. Over cook a corner and the system is going to intervene to keep you safe. Thats why it is recommended to change to after market brake pads if you have a heavy foot. Only good after market brake pads provide you with excellent performance without the price tag. You will see soon enough as the MR blasts past the slowpokes, and with after market brake pads, stop faster than 95 of the cars on the road. Brake pads are very important in a performance car, thats why you should always upgrade to  Mitsubishi OEM brake pads.
