The lowering springs improve the handling almost to a race car level. They car about 2 inches to reduce the center of gravity which aids in neutral handling in the evo. In addition, the springs virtually eliminates body roll while lowering un sprung weight which in returns improves overall performance of the Mitsubishi evo.
