EVO 8 9 HKS CLUTCH KIT
When it comes to driving the Evo , you will absolutely be pleasantly surprised. You have three choices when it comes to driving Tarmac, Gravel, and Snow. The stock clutch will not last long when driving it hard, so we recommend the HKS kit for all of our EVO's.
- HKS clutch can hold 60 more power than OEM clutch kits
- You can launch your EVO hard as you can with an HKS Clutch
- HKS clutch kits cost 25 less than OEM clutch kits
- Our HKS clutch is dyno tested at 550 WHP
he GD Clutch Max features the same multi-plate design and lightweight flywheel of the GD Clutch Pro, but also features a sprung hub and special engagement springs. The sprung hub absorbs engine torque which helps increase the life of the transmission, and aids in decreasing gear noise. Both of our Evo's are equipped with an HKS Clutch. The HKS Clutch really holds the Evo's power well and plants it quickly to the ground.
One of the things I think is very cool with the Gravel setting is that you can manoeuvre on gravel roads without being led into the trenches that heavily traveled roads may have. The HKS clutch allows you to push you Evo to its limits without worrying about your clutch burning out. The brakes on the vehicle are also quite efficient, and do not tend to show any wear after intense levels of driving. The HKS clutch lets you shift quickly and efficiently without missing a gear or grinding.
With its ultra quick steering, HKS clutch and race-tuned suspension, few cars can match the Lancer Evo's bang for the buck. The learning curve is as short as they come given that the car reacts with quick, predictable movements at every turn. Of course, at day's end the firm suspension can take its toll on your backside.
