When it comes to driving the Evo, you will absolutely be pleasantly surprised. You have three choices when it comes to driving Tarmac, Gravel, and Snow. The stock lightweight flywheels do not last long when driving it hard, so we recommend the FIDANZA lightweights flywheel for all of our EVO's.

Made from lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum, they are designed to be as light as possible, but at the same time remaining durable.

The friction surface is made of a very special lightweight 1050 high carbon alloy steel which allows the use of about any clutch material.  

Aluminum flywheels have been used for many years for increasing performance, from the earliest days of racing and street build-ups, the best engine builders have been using aluminum flywheels to give their engines the needed edge.

Both of our Evo's are equipped with an Fidanza lightweight fly wheel. The Fidanza lightweight fly wheel really let the Evo rev up freely and efficiently.  One of the things I think is very cool with the Gravel setting is that you can manoeuvre on gravel roads without being led into the trenches that heavily traveled roads may have.

 The Fidanza lightweight flywheels allow you to push you Evo to its limits without worrying about your flywheel shattering. The brakes on the vehicle are also quite efficient, and do not tend to show any wear after intense levels of driving. The Fidanza flywheels let you shift quickly and efficiently without missing a gear or grinding.

With its ultra quick steering, Fidanza lightweight flywheels and race-tuned suspension, few cars can match the Fidanza Lancer Evo's bang for the buck. The learning curve is as short as they come given that the car reacts with quick, predictable movements at every turn. Of course, at day's end the firm suspension can take its toll on your backside.
