EVO Exedy CLUTCH KIT

When it comes to driving the Evo 8, you will absolutely be pleasantly surprised. You have three choices when it comes to driving: Tarmac, Gravel, and Snow. The stock clutch will not last long when driving it hard, so we recommend the Exedy kit for all of our EVO's.

  • Exedy clutch can hold 60 percent more power than OEM clutch kits
  • You can launch your EVO hard as you can with an Exedy Clutch
  • Exedy clutch kits cost 25 percent less than OEM clutch kits
  • Our Exedy clutch is dyno tested at 550 WHP

The flagship model of EXEDY Racing Clutches: the carbon steel multi plate clutches. These clutches are light in weight, durable, and resilient to high heat, contributing to an improvement in track times. These complete bolt on designs require no additional modifications to the vehicle. The carbon materials are baked at more than 2000 degrees Celsius which allows the  carbon material to dissipate heat far better than conventional metallic material.  Both of our Evo's are equipped with an Exedy Clutch. The Exedy Clutch really holds the Evo's power well and plants it quickly to the ground.

One of the things I think is very cool with the Gravel setting is that you can maneuver on gravel roads without being led into the trenches that heavily traveled roads may have. The Exedy clutch allows you to push you Evo to its limits without worrying about your clutch burning out. The brakes on the vehicle are also quite efficient, and do not tend to show any wear after intense levels of driving. The Exedy clutch lets you shift quickly and efficiently without missing a gear or grinding.

With its ultra quick steering, Exedy clutch and race-tuned suspension, few cars can match the Lancer Evo's bang for the buck. The learning curve is as short as they come given that the car reacts with quick, predictable movements at every turn. Of course, at day's end the firm suspension can take its toll on your backside.
