AEM EVOX COLD AIR INTAKE

To gain power from the 4B11 MIVEC, AEM designed a fully enclosed airbox to house a AEM DRYFLOW intake performance filter and utilize the factory air duct to draw the coolest air possible.

An AEM Cold Air intake system relocates the filter outside of the engine compartment to deliver the coolest air inlet temperatures possible. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horsepower and torque.  Think of this as starting a fire at camp.  You have to blow gently into the fire to get a larger flame.  This is happens because you are blow oxygen into the fire and that's what the AEM intake does.  But that's only part of the power equation.
