To gain power from the 4G63 MIVEC, RMR designed a fully enclosed air box to house a RMR intake performance filter.

The Evolution is an incredible machine and rivals much more expensive cars. Out of the box, the EVO has great performance and one of the best handling. Even though the 4G63 MIVEC is very efficient, the factory intake is a huge restriction and was geared towards bringing the engine noise down.

The Wide band O2 System is a compact digital instrument capable of accurately measuring air fuel ratio (AFR), allowing you to monitor your engine and tune it for optimal power and reliability. Leading-edge Bosch technology is used, including a Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor and Bosch calibration chip.

Wide band O2 systems are finally widely available and affordable. Tired of not being able to properly tune your car Don't bother with trying to push the envelope just with a narrow band o2 sensor and EGT. A wide band setup allows you to accurately see your A/F ratio to get your car running consistent and strong.

Narrow band setups are great for allowing the stock ECU to keep itself in a happy state of tune for emmissions and stock power. The only problem is they are only accurate in a very narrow range of A F ratios (thus they are called narrow bands). A wide band o2 sensor will give a linear output for the entire range of A F ratios that you can possibly see coming out of the engine. Previously the only way to get a good wide band output was to pay over 1000 for a setup or have the car on a dyno with a wide band O2 (which often raises the cost of the dyno pull).

A wide band O2 sensor is the most accurate way to measure air fuel ratios, allowing fine tuning of your fuel computer or standalone EMS unit. This wideband kit includes the wideband control unit, external LED display, inductive RPM pickup and a serial connection with PC software foe use as an air fuel ratio datalogger.
