These NGK Powerdex AFX air fuel monitors are designed to measure the air/fuel ratio delivered to performance engines. This part is a must have for ANY modified vehicle. They began trying to crack the 300whp AFX Wideband mark with basic tweaks and adjustments and were eventually able to pull it off after adding a custom-fabricating cold-air intake. The next day, after a night of almost no sleep, they asked friend and well-known Florida dragger, Rolando Resto, to pilot their Evo X down the quarter-mile. The stock configuration AFX Wideband 4B11T boasts 276 Horsepower at the flywheel with the factory catback exhaust. This all equates to around 220 to 230 wheel horsepower once the AFX Wideband power is run through the EVO 10's dual clutch 5 speed manual gear box or 6-speed automatic gear box and advanced all wheel drive system. Tuning is key and you need only the best electronic tuning devices for the Evo to extract as much AFX Wideband power as possible without getting into the danger zone.
